Why I started MershLab.

MershLab grew out of a practical question: what would it take for software to understand the person and the situation around a request, then prove what it did?

It started with a medicine box.

In 2023, I built a medicine box for my grandmother, who was forgetting doses for her heart condition. It dispensed the medicine, alerted her caretaker when a dose was missed, and accepted Hindi voice commands. A machine that only spoke English would not meet her where she was.

The pattern kept repeating.

Before MershLab, I was CTO at Adverayze, building backend systems and helping take the company beyond Rs 24L in annual recurring revenue. In research, product work, and open-source infrastructure, I kept seeing the same gap: language models can produce fluent answers, but useful software needs context, judgment, and accountability.

That is the lab.

MershLab is my attempt to build the missing layer between language that sounds human and systems that actually understand people. We are exploring human emotional intelligence, human emulation, company context, and verifiable execution through software that can be read, tested, and inspected.

More of the work.
